Bad_Pool_Header - BSOD 5Min into GW
Every time i play Guild Wars, i get a Bad_Pool_Header Blue Screen. It happens 1-10 minutes into the game. I just recently got my account back, and it came with factions, someone hacked it and bought factions for it i guess. Anyways, It took 30 mins to update, and then i got on. 10 Minutes in, Blue screen. Here are my specs:
AMD Athlon 3400+ 2.4 GhZ
128 mB Geforce 6800 With unlocked pipes
Win XP
160 GB HD
1GB Ram
420W PSU
Any ideas?
Ah and also, my video drivers are 84.21 latest.

bad_pool_header BSOD's are usually driver related issues, or RAM issues. Depending on the exact error message. For now, I would reinstall/update all the drivers for your motherboard, sound, video, USB, LAN, modem, also reinstall directX 9.0c.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, try to write down the exact error message and post it up.

Yes as was said it is most possibly a driver error, disable automatic restart to do this right click on MY Computer select advanced tab select Start up & recovery option in the System Failure box remove Tick from automatic Restart.
Now the next time it BSOD's it will stay there until you power off, there wil be a stop code that resembles 0x????????(? this will be a combo of numbers and letters), post that code here and I (or someone else) may be able to point you in the right direction to the problem.
One more little thing try this you said you 6800 had all the pipes unlocked, set it back to normal to see if that does the trick?

The Complete Stop message is -
0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0x85EC7440, 0x85EC7540, 0x0A200001)
Ill try masking the pipes again.
Another *Different* Stop message - Different parameters
0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0x86127D50, 0x86127E50, 0x0A20004E)

Well according to microsoft support site, it seems to be a driver problem as was first suggested, what driver, sadly it could be one of a thousand.
It could a windows driver that has been corrupted, the easiest solution I can think of, is to do a windows repair, thats if you have a full copy of XP available(and your license key), take a look athttp://www.windowsreinstall.com, it is very straight forward to follow if your not too sure.
Doing a repair install will not remove any data you have on your PC, it'll just replace the windows folder, and you should have a working version, if that is the problem. I cant say for certain that this will correct it, but thats all I can think of at the moment.
